Wedding Season

Now that Prom is winding down, Wedding Season is in full swing and it's time to get all your ducks in a row. Keep in mind that we have to order in all the garments for your wedding to get them reserved ahead of time, so you want the guys to be measured as soon as possible. Here are several things to keep in mind when planning for your special day.

1. If we are ordering your vests and ties from certain companies, it's going to take longer to arrive.

We have a plethora of colors for you to choose from and we want you to find the exact color that matches your bridesmaid's dresses. One company that we use in particular has a large number of colors but it does take several weeks for these items to come in. So just take the time to check with us and make sure everyone is measured and has their down payment paid so that we can have everything ordered in time. We will also take the time to go through and make sure that everyone is measured in time and will notify you if some people in your wedding party are cutting it close.

2. Stay Informed.

There has been many times where I have contacted the bride or groom of a wedding party to let them know that someone was not measured, someone had not put their down payment down, or someone had neglected to pick out a style that was left optional and the bride and groom were not even aware. So it is very important that you check in with us periodically; and we will do the same for you. There's nothing wrong with double checking to make sure that everything is in order. It's better to know what is going on to put your mind at ease.

3. Don't Underestimate How Much Time You Have.

There are plenty of times where weddings have booked with plenty of time to spare to get everyone measured and everything ordered in time and then months go by and then we are running out of time. Do not underestimate the amount of time you have left to get things done. Keep in mind that if your wedding is after the Fall and Winter months that there will be a number of holidays and holiday hours that will eat up your time. Get what you need done early and then you will have plenty of time to deal with the other aspects of the wedding without having to worry about this particular one.
