Helpful Tips: When to Rent

A lot of our customers are often unsure of when the right time is to start planning on renting their garments for their wedding or event. A lot of people may have never rented before and thus are not familiar with the process. If you are not sure when you need to start planning, then hang tight and we will go over everything you need to know.

Firstly, we have taken care of a good number of last minute orders and we are used to taking care of them if need be. So if you think you may not have time because you waited until the very last second still give us a call. Otherwise, just remember there is no penalty for starting the rental process early.

If you are planning your wedding, we want the styles for your wedding finalized at least 3 months before your wedding date. This means we want no changes and that you and your fiancée are 100 percent in agreeance with the tuxedo and colors you both decided on. We then would want everyone’s measurements at least 2 months before the wedding regardless if they get measured in our store or not. We do this because we need to get the tuxedos reserved ahead of time for your special day. So you may want to give yourself a little extra time and come in to look at styles around 5 months before your wedding date. This way, you have time to change your mind about styles if necessary and you can get everyone measured so that you won't have to worry about it later. Of course you can come in even sooner than that if you would like; that just means everything will be taken care of sooner.

If you are planning for an event, then your time line is a little different. We have had people who need tuxedos come in the same week of their event to pick something out and get measured. Now, if you are looking for something very specific you may want to give yourself two weeks at the minimum just to make sure that we can get you exactly what you are looking for. Even just one week ahead of time could also suffice. Just try to leave enough time to have the garments ordered and then time to get replacements if necessary. We have sizes in house so again it can depend on what you are looking for.

We want to make sure you look good for your event or wedding so we will do everything we can to get you in a good looking tuxedo. We will always try to accommodate our customers to the best of our abilities, but if you give yourself time to rent your garments you make it easy on us and on yourselves.

Yeah, it's that easy. We have twitter, instagram and facebook so if your like or follow us on any of those you get $5.00 off just because we appreciate your business. Not on social media? No problem, you can have someone you know do it for you. We check our social media regularly to make sure you get your discount.

2. Refer a Friend & Earn a FREE Tux!

All you have to do is sign up to be a rep, we give you cards with somewhere for you to write your name, and you can pass them out to friends you know who still need a tuxedo. Every time you send a friend in you get $10.00 off your tuxedo. Once you get 5 friends, your tuxedo is FREE. You do not have to refer only your friends, as long as they know your name when they come in you get $10.00 off your tuxedo. They also do NOT need to go to the same school as you. There is no penalty if you do not end up sending anyone in for a tuxedo.

 -But what if I already paid for my Tuxedo? 

If you already paid for your tuxedo and ended up getting money off later, we will just refund you. Do not feel discouraged about saving money on your tuxedo because we want you to take advantage of these opportunities. We want your prom to be affordable and fun!
